Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 64025  Size: SH
  1. Remove the radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .
  2. Reposition the inlet hose clamp at the radiator.
  3. Remove the inlet hose from the radiator.
  4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  5. Object Number: 179305  Size: SH
  6. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.
  7. Remove the stabilizer shaft brackets and insulators.
  8. Reposition the stabilizer shaft downwards.

  9. Object Number: 672687  Size: SH
  10. Disconnect the fan electrical connectors.
  11. Remove the forward lamp harness from the retaining clips on the shroud.

  12. Object Number: 64026  Size: SH
  13. Reposition the outlet hose clamp at the radiator.
  14. Remove the outlet hose from the radiator.

  15. Object Number: 339969  Size: SH
  16. Remove the fan shroud, perform the following:
  17. 12.1. Push the fan shroud upward in order to disengage the retaining tabs on the radiator.
    12.2. Pull the fan shroud down in order to remove it from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 339969  Size: SH
  1. Install the fan shroud, perform the following:
  2. 1.1. Push the fan shroud up in order to install the shroud to the vehicle.
    1.2. Pull the fan shroud down in order to engage the retaining tabs on the radiator.

  3. Install the outlet hose to the radiator.
  4. Position the outlet hose clamp at the radiator.

  5. Object Number: 672687  Size: SH
  6. Install the forward lamp harness to the retaining clips on the shroud.
  7. Connect the fan electrical connectors.

  8. Object Number: 179305  Size: SH
  9. Position the stabilizer shaft upwards.
  10. Install the stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets.
  11. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  12. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.
  13. Tighten
    Tighten the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).

  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Install the inlet hose from the radiator.
  16. Position the inlet hose clamp at the radiator.
  17. Install the radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .
