Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 295319  Size: SH
  1. Remove the IP lower insulator panel - RH. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.

  3. Object Number: 295327  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the blower control module electrical connector.

  5. Object Number: 295320  Size: SH
  6. LOOSEN the blower control module forward two retaining screws (nearest the dash mat) approximately 5 mm (0.197 in).
  7. (The blower control module is slotted at the forward retaining locations.)

  8. Remove the blower control module rear retaining screw.
  9. Tilt down the rear of the blower control module.
  10. Remove the blower control module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the blower control module forward retaining slots onto the forward retaining screws.
  2. Align and seat the blower control module to the HVAC module.
  3. Install the blower control module rear retaining screw.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Tighten the blower control module retaining screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).

  7. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.

  9. Connect the blower control module electrical connector.
  10. Install the IP lower insulator panel - RH. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
