Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support
the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
in
Bumpers.
- Release the brake caliper cooling duct from the front fascia,
then reposition the duct.
- Disconnect the front fog
lamp electrical connector.
Caution: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly
could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal
injury:
• | Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing
the bulb. |
• | Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete. |
• | Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb. |
• | Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass. |
• | Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb. |
• | Properly dispose of the used bulb. |
• | Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children. |
- Remove the fog lamp bulb from the fog lamp.
Twist the bulb to release.
Installation Procedure

- Install the fog lamp bulb to the fog lamp assembly.
Twist the bulb to secure.
- Connect the front fog
lamp electrical connector.
- Position the brake caliper
cooling duct to the front fascia, then push to secure.
- Install the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
in
Bumpers.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Verify that the front fog lamps are aimed properly. Refer to
Fog Lamp Aiming
.
