Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle. Refer
to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the front bumper fascia lower close out panel. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the front brake caliper cooling duct. Refer to
Front Brake Caliper Cooling Duct Replacement
- Remove the wiring harness' plastic clips (1).
- Remove the two clips at the top of the fascia grille (2).
- Remove the two fascia grille screws .
- Remove the fascia grille
through the front of the opening.
Installation Procedure
- Install the fascia grille
through the front of the opening.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the two
fascia grille screws.
Tighten
Tighten the fascia grille screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
- Install the two clips at the top of the fascia grille (2).
- Install the wiring harness' plastic clips (1).
- Install the front brake caliper cooling duct. Refer to
Front Brake Caliper Cooling Duct Replacement
- Install the front bumper fascia lower close out panel. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement
.
- Lower the vehicle.
