Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the deck lid lock cylinder and integral rear deck lid tamper switch. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement in Body Rear End.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the deck lid lock cylinder and integral rear deck lid tamper switch. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement in Body Rear End.
  2. Connect the negative battery cable.
