Notice: Do not use a solution stronger than 70 percent antifreeze. Pure antifreeze will freeze at -22°C (-8°F).

This vehicle was manufactured with GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL™. DEX-COOL™ was developed to last for 240000 km (150000 mi) or 5 years (whichever occurs first). Make sure only GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL™ is used when coolant is added or changed. Follow the instructions in Cooling System Draining and Filling .

A 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol (DEX-COOL™) and water will provide the following:

1. Give freezing protection down to -37°C (-34°F).
2. Give boiling protection up to 129°C (265°F).
3. Protect against rust and corrosion.
4. Help keep the proper engine temperature.
5. Allow the sensors and switches operate as designed.
