Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1998 🢒 Express 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Air Distributor Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the left inner floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the left outer floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .
  4. Remove the right inner floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  5. Remove the right outer floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  6. Remove the center floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  7. Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. Remove the left instrument panel outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Panel Air Outlet Ducts Replacement .
  9. Roll out the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    10. Object Number: 301649 Size: SH
  10. Remove the retaining screws at the air distribution case.
  11. Remove the retaining screws at the instrument panel.
  12. Remove the air distribution duct from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 301649 Size: SH
  1. Install the air distribution duct to the instrument panel.
  2. Install the retaining screws to the instrument panel.
  3. Install the retaining screws to the air distribution case.
  4. Roll in the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  5. Install the left instrument panel outlet duct to the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Panel Air Outlet Ducts Replacement .
  6. Install the instrument panel cluster bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Install the center floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  8. Install the right outer floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  9. Install the right inner floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
  10. Install the left outer floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .
  11. Install the left inner floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .
  12. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
