Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

for the 2.2L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.4L engine.

2. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Use J 38185 to reposition hose clamps on the engine oil cooler outlet hose.
