For 1990-2009 cars only

A power sunroof (RPO CF5 option) is available with the following features:

    • A power sliding window panel
    • A manually operated sunshade

The power sunroof is electrically operated from a 2 position rocker type switch. The rocker type switch is located in the center of the windshield header area.

Vent Position

In order to move the sunroof to the vent position, perform the following steps:

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the run position.
  2. Press and release the control switch to the rearward position.

Open Position

When the switch rearward position is pressed a a second time and released using the window in the vent position, the window will slide back above the roof panel to the fully open position.

Closed Position

In order to close the sunroof, hold the control switch in the forward position until the following functions occur:

    • The window completely closes.
    • The wind deflector retracts.
    • The wind deflector seals against the roof opening flange.

An express module at the front of the module causes the window panel to stop in the following positions:

    • Closed
    • Vent
    • Fully open

The Electrical Harness

An electrical harness is routed along the following areas:

    • Along the left portion of the windshield header
    • Down the left windshield pillar
