Test the body control module (BCM) for stored DTCs. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List/Type in Body Control System.

Have all of the DTCs been cleared?

Perform the body control system check. Refer to Body Control Module System Check in Body Control System.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Exchange the park lamp relay with a known good relay from the underhood junction block.

Do the parking lamps turn off?

Replace the faulty relay.

Is the repair complete?

Disconnect the turn/headlamp switch assembly connector C1.

Do the parking lamps turn off?

Go to Step 7

Replace the turn/headlamp switch assembly. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Standard.

Is the repair complete?

Disconnect the underhood junction block connector C2.

Do the front parking lamps turn off?

Go to Step 9

Disconnect the underhood junction block connector C3.

Do the rear parking lamps turn off?

Repair the short to B+ in CKT 9 between the underhood junction block and the lit parking lamps. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the underhood junction block. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement in Wiring Systems.

Disconnect the right IP junction block connector C3.

Do all of the rear lamps turn off?

Disconnect the right IP junction block connector C2.

Do all of the interior lamps and components connected to connector C2 turn off?

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the right IP junction block connector C2 between terminal B9 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the short to B+ in CKT 9 between the right IP junction block and the lit interior lamps. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the short to B+ in CKT 9 between the right IP junction block and the underhood junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
