Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.

    2. Object Number: 442531 Size: SH
  2. Pull the 2 release tabs (1) upward in order to release the headlamp assembly (2).

    3. Object Number: 442535 Size: SH

    Caution: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury:

       • Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb.
       • Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete.
       • Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
       • Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
       • Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
       • Properly dispose of the used bulb.
       • Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket from the headlamp assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 442535 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket to the headlamp assembly.

    2. Install the headlamp assembly to the vehicle body.

  2. Push down on the 2 release tabs in order to install the headlamp assembly (2).
  3. Install the splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
