Removal Procedure
  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the solenoid.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.

    4. Object Number: 529887 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nut that attaches the solenoid to the mounting stud.
  5. Remove the solenoid.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 529887 Size: SH
  1. Install the nut securing the solenoid to the mounting stud.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting nut to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid.
  3. Connect the vacuum hoses to the solenoid.
