Important: To check if the vehicle is equipped with a separate remote control receiver open the rear compartment lid. The receiver is located between the rear package shelf and the rear package shelf cover, just to the right of the center access hole. If you can not locate any mounting tabs in this area the remote control door lock receiver is not serviceable. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in body control systems.
