Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 280454  Size: SH
  1. Position the front seat forward in order to gain access to the seat adjuster attaching bolts (1).
  2. Remove the front seat adjuster attaching bolts (1).
  3. Disconnect the seat belt wiring harness on the driver side only.
  4. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector, if equipped, on the driver side only.
  5. Remove the front seat. Manually tilt the seat forward in order to disengage the hooks from the floor pan.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front seat. Manually tilt the seat forward in order to engage the hooks to the floor pan.
  2. Connect the power seat electrical connector.
  3. Connect the seat belt wiring harness.

  5. Position the front seat forward in order to gain access to the seat adjuster attaching bolts (1).
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the front seat adjuster bolts  (1).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).
