Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Place the hazard lamp switch to the ON position.

Do all of the turn signal tamps flash on and off?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Inspect the HAZARD LPS Fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Disconnect the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher.

Using a test lamp connected to a known good ground, probe the hazard switch battery feed circuit.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair a short to ground in the hazard switch battery feed circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Repair a high resistance or an open in the hazard switch battery feed circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Replace the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
