Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat cushion
cover and pad from the seat cushion frame (3). Refer to
Front Seat Cushion Replacement
.
- Remove the inner and outer seat adjuster bolts (5).
- Remove the inner and outer seat adjusters (4) from the
seat cushion frame (3).
- Remove the seat back recliner bolts (1).
- Remove the seat back recliners (2) with the seat back from
the seat cushion frame (3).
- Discard the seat cushion frame (3).
Installation Procedure
- Install the
seat back recliners (2) with the seat back to the seat cushion frame (3).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the seat back recliner bolts (1).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the inner and outer seat adjusters (4) to the seat
cushion frame (3).
- Install the inner and outer seat adjuster bolts (5).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the seat cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame (3).

Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the
seat cushion frame. Refer to
Front Seat Cushion Replacement

- Disconnect the seat back recliner cable from the cushion frame (8).
- Remove the recliner bolts (5) from the cushion frame (8).
- Remove the recliners (6) from the cushion frame (8).
- Remove the seat adjuster release handle (1), if equipped.
- Remove the power seat switch bracket screw, if equipped.
Remove the bracket from the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the seat belt buckle bolt (4).
- Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat adjuster (2).
- Remove the seat adjusters (2) from the cushion frame (8).
Installation Procedure
- Install the seat adjusters (2) to
the cushion frame (8).

must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring

- Install the seat adjuster bolts (9) to the cushion frame (8).
Tighten
Tighten bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the seat belt buckle (3) to the seat adjuster (2).
- Install the seat belt buckle bolt (4).
Tighten
Tighten bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).
- Install the power switch bracket, if equipped.
Install the power seat switch bracket screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
- Install the seat adjuster release handle (1), if equipped.
- Install the recliner (6) to the cushion frame (8).
Install the seat back recliner bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the seat back recliner cable to the cushion frame.
- Install the front seat cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame.
