Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 740566  Size: SH
  1. Adjust the front bucket seat to the full up position in order to gain access to the power seat switch.
  2. Remove the bezel (1) from the switch (3).

  3. Object Number: 740550  Size: SH
  4. Adjust the cushion cover (1) in order to gain access to the switch (3). Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Remove the switch screws (4).
  6. Remove the switch (3) from the cushion frame (2)
  7. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connector (5).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 740550  Size: SH
  1. Connect the wire harness electrical connector (5).
  2. Position the switch (3) to the cushion frame (2).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the power seat switch screw (4).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  6. Adjust the cushion cover (1). Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .

  7. Object Number: 740566  Size: SH
  8. Align the bezel (1) to switch (3)
  9. Press into place until fully seated.

  10. Adjust the front bucket seat to the original position.
