Front Side Door Center Molding Assembly

Tip

  1. When removing protective liners from adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
  2. Use heat gun to remove the bodyside molding. Clean all adhesive from the door side, wipe surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing new side door molding.
  3. Ensure to close the door prior to attaching the new molding.
  4. Align the molding integral pin to round hole at the rear edge of the front door. Peel the adhesive tape protective liner from the molding and secure the front door bodyside center molding to the door.
  5. Using a towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the rear edge working forward.

Rear Side Door Center Molding Assembly

Tip

  2. Use heat gun to remove the bodyside molding. Clean all adhesive from the door side, wipe surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing new side door molding.
  3. Ensure to close the door prior to attaching the new molding.
  4. Align the molding integral pin to round hole at the front edge of the rear door. Peel the adhesive tape protective liner from the molding and secure the front door bodyside center molding to the door.
  5. Using a towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the front edge of the rear door and working rearward.
