Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2006 🢒 Malibu 🢒 Body 🢒 Roof 🢒 Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

    2. Object Number: 1222456 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the front sunroof drain hose from the sunroof drain spigot.
  3. Disengage the sunroof drain hose from the attachment points on the windshield pillar.

    4. Object Number: 1331335 Size: SH
  4. Pull the grommet and a short length of the front drain hose out of the front hinge pillar.
  5. Disconnect the grommet from the drain hose.
  6. Tie a 1 m (3 ft) length of string onto the lower end of the hose.
  7. Remove the hose through the top of the I/P. Do NOT pull the string all of the way out.
  8. Disconnect the string from the hose.

Installation Procedure
  1. Attach the string used in the removal procedure to the lower end of the drain hose.
  2. Pull the hose in place with the string. Route the hose down the windshield post and into the front lower hinge pillar.
  3. Pull the hose out through the hole in the front hinge pillar.
  4. Remove the string.

    5. Object Number: 1331335 Size: SH
  5. Install the grommet onto the end of the hose.
  6. Install the grommet into the hole in the front hinge pillar.

    7. Object Number: 1222456 Size: SH
  7. Connect the hose to the attachments on the windshield pillar.
  8. Connect the front sunroof drain hose to the sunroof drain spigot.
  9. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
