1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the A/C off.

Does the air conditioning (A/C) compressor clutch engage?

Go to HVAC Compressor Clutch Does Not Disengage

Go to Step 3

Remove the A/C 2 condenser fan relay.

Does the A/C condenser fan motor stop running?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the A/C 2 condenser fan relay. Refer to Condenser Fan Relay Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to HVAC Compressor Controls System Check

Repair the short to voltage in the BLU/BLK or the RED/BLU wire between the A/C 2 condenser fan relay and the A/C condenser fan motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
