Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the following connectors from the radio by accessing through the instrument panel compartment:
  3. • The radio electrical connector
    • The antenna connector
  4. Remove the ashtray from the track by pushing down on the retainer and pulling out.

  5. Object Number: 352116  Size: SH
  6. Remove the following components from the instrument panel:
  7. 4.1. 4 screws (1)
    4.2. The center trim bezel (3)

  8. Remove the cross-recess screw (1) from under the back of the radio. Access the screw through the ashtray cutout in the instrument panel.
  9. Remove 4 screws from the front of the radio.
  10. Remove the radio with the mounting bracket from the vehicle.
  11. Remove 5 screws and 3 radio mounting brackets from the radio, if necessary.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radio mounting brackets to the radio, if removed. Secure the brackets with the 5 screws.

  2. Object Number: 352120  Size: MH
  3. Install the radio to the instrument panel. Secure the radio with 4 screws (1).
  4. Install the cross-recess screw to the radio rear mounting bracket. Access through the ashtray cutout in the instrument panel.

  5. Object Number: 352116  Size: SH
  6. Install the center trim bezel (3) to the instrument panel. Secure the bezel with the 4 screws (1).
  7. Install the ashtray to the ashtray track.
  8. Connect the following connectors. Access through the instrument panel compartment:
  9. • The radio electrical connector
    • The antenna connector
  10. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
