Disconnect the junction block connector C2.

Does the alarm continue to sound?

Test for a short to voltage using a J 39200 in the BLU/BLK wire between the junction block Connector C4 cavity 14 and the audio alarm module cavity 4.

Was there a short to voltage condition found?

Replace the ignition key warning switch.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the short to voltage in the BLU/BLK wire between junction block connector C4 cavity 14 and cavity 4 of the audio alarm module. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

1. Inspect the audio alarm module for bad connections. 2. If no problem is found, replace the audio alarm module. Refer to Audio Alarm Module Replacement .
