Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 352186 Size: MH
  2. Remove the water deflector (2) from the door.

    3. Object Number: 352189 Size: MH
  3. Lower the window (3) completely.
  4. Remove the inside rear corner trim molding.
  5. Remove the 3 screws and the rear outside corner trim molding (1).
  6. Remove the 3 screws and the front outer garnish from the rear door.
  7. Unclip the outer sealing strip from the door (7).
  8. Loosen the upper edge of the weatherstrip along the upper edge of the window channel.

  9. Remove the 2 retaining screws (3) that secure the window bottom sash to the window regulator.
  10. Remove the window assembly from the door.

  11. Remove the window (3) from the bottom channel (6).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 352189 Size: MH
  1. Coat the window bottom sash (6) with soapy water in order to ease the installation of the window (3) to the bottom sash (6).
  2. Install the window (3) to the bottom sash (6).
  3. Install the window assembly (3,6) to the door.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Use care not to overtighten the window bottom sash-to-window regulator screws.

  4. Install the window bottom sash-to-window regulator. Secure the regulator with the 2 screws (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the window bottom sash-to-window regulator screws (3) to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Inspect the window for correct front/rear and left/right position. Adjust the window as needed.
  6. Press the weatherstrip into place.
  7. Clip the outer sealing strip (7) to the door.
  8. Secure the front outer garnish to the rear door with the 3 screws.
  9. Secure the rear outside corner trim molding (1) with the 3 screws.
  10. Install the inside rear corner trim molding.

    11. Object Number: 352186 Size: MH
  11. Apply adhesive to the back of the water deflector (2).
  12. Install the water deflector (2) to the door.
  13. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
