Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 622925 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Slide out the hood latch release cable sideways in order to release the cable from the hood latch assembly.
  3. Remove the following components:
    4. • 6 screws
    • 5 plastic clips
    • The left wheelhouse panel
  4. Remove the 2 screws (2) that retain the hood latch release lever (1).
  5. Pull the hood latch release lever (1) and the cable from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 622925 Size: SH
  1. Install the hood release cable through the following components to the hood latch assembly:
    2. • The instrument panel
    • The cowl
    • The inner fender
  2. Connect the cable to the hood latch assembly.
  3. Install the hood latch release lever (1) to the knee bolster. Secure the lever with the 2 screws (2).
  4. Install the left front wheelhouse panel. Secure the wheelhouse with the following components:
    5. • 6 screws
    • 5 plastic clips
