Front Seat Adjuster Replacement 2 Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .

  2. Object Number: 352885  Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the recliner mechanism (2):
  4. 2.1. The screw
    2.2. The recliner handle (3)

    Object Number: 352881  Size: MH
  5. Remove the following components from the seat:
  6. 3.1. The 2 screws
    3.2. The seat cushion side panel (5)
  7. Disconnect the easy entry cable (11).
  8. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:
  9. 5.1. 2 bolts
    5.2. 1 nut
    5.3. The outboard seat adjuster (8)
  10. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:
  11. 6.1. 2 bolts
    6.2. The inboard seat adjuster (9)

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352881  Size: MH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the inboard seat adjuster (9) to the seat. Secure the adjuster with 2 mounting bolts.
  2. Install the outboard seat adjuster (8) to the seat. Secure the adjuster with 2 mounting bolts and 1 nut.
  3. Tighten
    Tighten the inboard and outboard seat adjuster mounting bolts and the nut to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  4. Connect the easy entry cable (11).
  5. Install the seat cushion side panel (5) to the seat assembly. Secure the side panel with 2 screws.

  7. Install the recliner handle (3) to the recliner mechanism (2). Secure the handle with the screw .
  8. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .

Front Seat Adjuster Replacement 4 Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .

  2. Object Number: 352885  Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the recliner mechanism (2):
  4. 2.1. The screw
    2.2. The recliner handle (3)

    Object Number: 352881  Size: MH
  5. Remove the following components from the seat:
  6. 3.1. The 2 screws
    3.2. The seat cushion side panel (5)
  7. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:
  8. 4.1. 2 bolts
    4.2. 1 nut
    4.3. The outboard seat adjuster (8)
  9. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:
  10. 5.1. 2 bolts
    5.2. The inboard seat adjuster (9)

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inboard seat adjuster (9) to the seat. Secure the adjuster with 2 mounting bolts.
