For 1990-2009 cars only

This vehicle is equipped with the following components:

    • The high-backed front bucket seats
    • The integrated head restraints

The front seat cushions and the backs have formed foam pads which fit the following areas:

    • The contours of the full-panel seatback frame assembly
    • The designed contour of the seat cushion frame

Use the recliner lever in order to move the front seatbacks forward for access to the following areas:

    • The rear seats
    • The rear cargo area

For ease of entry on 2-door models, the entire front seat assemblies move forward. The release lever is an integral part of the recliner mechanism. The release lever mounts on the outboard side of the front seat.

Caution: Do not try to change the designed seat position by changing the seat adjuster-to-floor pan anchor placement or the seat adjuster-to-seat frame anchor placement. Changing the designed seat position could affect the safe performance of the seat and cause personal injury.

You may NOT relocate the front seat either forward or rearward from the following locations:

    • The seat adjuster-to-floor pan attachments
    • The seat adjuster-to-seat frame attachments
