Broken/missing detent or canceling spring

Replace the components as necessary.

Foreign material or loose parts are obstructing the yoke movement.

Inspect, clean and replace the components as necessary.

Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle or Steering Column Jacket - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Steering Column Jacket - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

The switch is not centered inside the column.

1. Inspect the following components:

•	The switch

•	Verify that the switch is correctly installed.

•	The mounting screw bosses on the lock housing cover.

2. Replace the components as necessary.

Replace the switch if the suggested problems do not exist.
