Was the Wiper/Washer System Check performed?

  1. Set the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector C201.
  3. Set the wiper switch to DELAY.
  4. Measure the resistance between wiper/washer switch connector C201, terminals E9 and E13, with a DMM
  5. Move the wiper switch through the entire delay range.

Does the resistance vary within the specified range?

110 Kohms to1200 Kohms

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle

Is the repair complete?

Measure the resistance between wiper/washer switch connector C201, terminals E9 and E13, with a DMM.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

3 ohms

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle

Is the repair complete?

Check for a poor connection condition or an open circuit condition in CKT 91 or CKT 94.

Is a poor connection condition or an open circuit condition present?

Go to Step 7

Repair the poor connection condition or the open circuit condition in CKT 91 or CKT 94.

Is the repair complete?
