Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 291534  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts (1) from the rear speaker.
  4. Remove the rear speaker (2) from the rear shelf.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the rear speaker.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 291534  Size: SH
  1. Connect electrical connector (3) to the rear speaker.
  2. Install the rear speaker (2) to the rear shelf.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bolts (1) to the rear speaker.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the rear speaker bolts to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  6. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
