Do the turn signal indicators work when the turn signals are operating?

Refer to Illumination Lamps and Turn Signals, High Beam, and Seat Belt Indicators Inoperative, Other Indicators and Gauges OK

  1. Disconnect the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Control Module.
  2. Connect a fused 3 amp jumper between B+ and the DRL harness connector C2 terminal M.

Does the high beam indicator illuminate?

  1. Replace the daytime running lamp control module. Refer to Daytime Running Lamp Module in Lighting Systems.
  2. Inspect the system.

Is the symptom still present?

Go to Step 5

System OK

  • Inspect for a poor connection or an open in CKT 629 between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal D6 and S219.

  1. Repair the poor connection or the open in CKT 629 between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal D6 and S219.
  2. Inspect the system.

Is the symptom still present?

  1. Inspect the warning indicator bulb and the bulb connection.
  2. If OK, replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  3. Inspect the system.
