Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 293478 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolt from the plenum chamber water deflector.
  3. Remove the plenum chamber water deflector from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293478 Size: SH
  1. Install the plenum chamber water deflector by aligning the tabs to the slots in the plenum chamber.
  2. Slide the plenum chamber water deflector rearward in order to engage the tabs.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolt to the plenum chamber water deflector.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the plenum chamber water deflector bolt to 4.5 N·m (40 lb in).

  4. Install the right air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
