1. Open the rear compartment.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment occupant presence sensor.



3. To remove the rear compartment occupant presence sensor, push in on the retaining tab and slide forward to remove from the rear compartment upper shelf.
4. Remove the rear compartment occupant presence sensor from the vehicle.

Important: Replacement sensors are not available. Contact Technical Assistance for further instructions.
