The steering intermediate shaft is loose.

Repair or replace the steering intermediate shaft as necessary. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

The steering gear is loose.

Tighten the steering gear mounting bolts to specifications. Refer to Power Steering Gear Replacement.

The tie rods are loose.

Repair or replace the tie rod(s) as necessary. Refer to Tie Rod End Replacement - Outer - On Vehicle.

The wheel bearings are loose.

Replace the wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Front in Front Suspension.
