Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 641566 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ACCY position.
  2. Set the wiper switch to the PULSE position
  3. Turn the switch OFF when the wiper arms are in the innerwipe position and paused.
  4. Open the hood.
  5. Remove the washer hose from the washer nozzle.
  6. Remove the cover from the nut.
  7. Remove the nut from the wiper arm and the wiper transmission drive shaft.

    8. Important: Use a battery terminal puller to remove the wiper arms if they cannot be removed by rocking.

  8. Remove the wiper arm from the wiper transmission drive shaft by rocking.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 641567 Size: SH

    Important: Hold the measuring device at 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the wiper blade.

  1. Install the wiper arm onto the wiper transmission drive shaft while locating the tip of the wiper blades to the distance shown from the bottom of the windshield.
    2. • Passenger Side - 78.3 mm (3.080 in.)
    • Driver Side 75.5 mm (2.972 in.)
  2. Install the nut onto the wiper transmission drive shaft and the wiper arm.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Place the cover on the nut.

    4. Important: Lubricate the washer hose with windshield washer solvent in order to ease installation onto the washer nozzle.

  4. Connect the washer hose to the washer nozzle.
  5. Close the hood.
  6. Operate the wipers and inspect for proper operation.
