Removal Procedure
- Remove the lid completely from the washer solvent container.
- Remove the left front headlight, if required, to access the top forward screw. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
- Remove the top forward screw.
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the LF wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
- Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.
- Remove the two screws, the retainer and the washer solvent container with the air induction assembly from the vehicle.
- Remove the screw and the air induction assembly from the washer solvent container.
Installation Procedure
- Install the air induction assembly onto the washer solvent container with the screw.
- Install the washer solvent container and the air induction assembly with the two screws and the retainer.
- Connect the hose to the washer pump.
- Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
- Install the splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.
- Install the LF wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Install the top forward screw.
- Install the left front headlight, if removed. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
- Install the lid on the container.
- Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
- Operate the windshield washer and inspect for proper operation.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

Tighten the screw to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
