🢒 Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement
Removal Procedure
Remove the lid completely from the washer solvent container.
Remove the left front headlight, if required, to access the top forward screw. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
Remove the top forward screw.
Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the LF wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
Remove the splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.
Remove the two screws, the retainer and the washer solvent container with the air induction assembly from the vehicle.
Remove the screw and the air induction assembly from the washer solvent container.
Installation Procedure
Install the air induction assembly onto the washer solvent container with the screw.
Install the washer solvent container and the air induction assembly with the two screws and the retainer.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
Connect the hose to the washer pump.
Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
Install the splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.
Install the LF wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Install the top forward screw.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
Install the left front headlight, if removed. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
Install the lid on the container.
Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
Operate the windshield washer and inspect for proper operation.
