Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the tie bar.
  3. Remove the fuse block. Refer to Fuse Block Replacement - in this section.

    4. Object Number: 608758 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts (2).

    5. Important: Steering column must be in the straight tilt position, using the tilt lever.

  5. Remove the tie bar (1) from the front of the dash.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 608758 Size: SH

    Important: The steering column must be in the straight tilt position, using the tilt lever.

  1. Install the tie bar (1) to the front of the dash.
  2. Install the bolts (2) and the studs (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts and the studs to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the wiring harness to the tie bar.
  4. Install the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement.
