Up to three transmitters may be programmed to one remote control door lock receiver (Omron Module). A transmitter may be programmed to more than one vehicle if the remote keyless entry systems are similar. All of the transmitters (maximum of 3 total per receiver) must be programmed at the same time in order for all of the transmitters to function properly. Once all three memory locations are occupied in the receiver, programming of an additional new transmitter will cause the first programmed transmitter to be erased.

Important: Leave a window down in the vehicle while reprogramming the remote control door lock receiver system. The above action will prevent unintentional lock out if the reprogramming procedure is not performed properly.

1. Turn OFF the ignition.



2. Remove the 10 AMP mirror fuse from the fuse block for approximately 20 seconds and replace.

Important: Perform Step 4 immediately after connecting the jumper wire as instructed in Step 3.

3. Connect a jumper wire between the two terminals of the RKE program connector (1) in the rear compartment.
4. Press the LOCK button six times within 10 seconds on the transmitter being programmed.

The keyless entry system will not give any confirmation that the transmitter has been programmed.

5. Perform the previous step for each of the remaining transmitters.
6. Remove the jumper at the program connector.
7. Verify the proper operation of each transmitter.
