Power Mirrors Voltage Supply
Battery voltage is supplied from the MIRRORS fuse through CKT 1040
(ORN) to the power mirror switch terminal 8 and to terminal 9 of the foldaway
mirror module. Ground for the power mirror switch is supplied through CKT 150
to terminal 1. Ground for the foldaway mirror module is supplied through CKT 250
to terminal 3.
Left Power Mirror Control
The following list shows the circuits used when each direction switch
is pressed on the power mirror switch with the left mirror selected:
• | UP-Voltage is applied to CKT 88 (YEL) to terminal 1 of the vertical
motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal 2 of the
vertical motor. |
• | DOWN-Voltage is applied to CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal 2
of the vertical motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 88 (YEL) to terminal
1 of the vertical motor. |
• | LEFT-Voltage is applied to CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal 2
of the horizontal motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 81 (WHT) to terminal
3 of the horizontal motor. |
• | RIGHT-Voltage is applied to CKT CKT 81 (WHT) to terminal 3 of
the horizontal motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to
terminal 2 of the horizontal motor. |
Right Power Mirror Control
The following list shows the circuits used when each direction switch
is pressed on the power mirror switch with the right mirror selected:
• | UP-Voltage is applied to CKT 1498 (BRN/WHT) to terminal 1 of the
vertical motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal
2 of the vertical motor. |
• | DOWN-Voltage is applied to CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal 2
of the vertical motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 1498 (BRN/WHT) to terminal
1 of the vertical motor. |
• | LEFT-Voltage is applied to CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT) to terminal 2
of the horizontal motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 881 (RED/WHT) to terminal
3 of the horizontal motor. |
• | RIGHT-Voltage is applied to CKT CKT 881 (RED/WHT) to terminal
3 of the horizontal motor. Ground is supplied through CKT 1497 (LT BLU/WHT)
to terminal 2 of the horizontal motor. |
Foldaway mirrors
When the power foldaway mirror switch is pressed, voltage is supplied
to terminal 2 of the power folding mirror switch through CKT 910 to terminal
10 of the foldaway mirror module. The following list shows the circuits used
when the foldaway mirror switch is pressed:
• | EXTEND-Voltage is applied to CKT 911 and CKT 915 to the foldaway
mirror motors at terminal 4. Ground is supplied through CKT 914 for the left
motor and through CKT 918 for the right motor. CKT 912 and CKT 916 are the
limit switch inputs to the foldaway mirror module when the retract mode is
selected. |
• | RETRACT-Voltage is applied to CKT 914 and CKT 918
to the foldaway mirror motors at terminal 7. Ground is supplied through CKT
911 for the left motor and through CKT 915 for the right motor. CKT 913 and
CKT 917 are the limit switch inputs to the foldaway mirror module when the
extend mode is selected. |
