Tools Required

J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor

1. Install the inner race (5).
2. Install the upper bearing inner race seat (4).
3. Install the upper bearing spring (3).
4. Lubricate the turn signal cancel cam assembly (2) with lithium grease.
5. Install the turn signal cancel cam assembly (2).
6. Install the shaft lock (1).



7. Install the new bearing retainer using J 23653-SIR .



8. Install the wave washer (2) to the steering column.
9. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Assemble - Off Vehicle .
