Tires that do not contact and grip the road equally will cause unequal braking. Ensure that all of the tires meet the following requirements:
• | Equally inflated |
• | Identical in size |
• | Approximately equal tread pattern for both the right side and the left side |
A heavily loaded vehicle requires more braking effort. When a vehicle is loaded unequally, the most heavily loaded wheels require more braking power than the other wheels.
Misaligned wheels will cause the brakes to pull to one side. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.
