Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 241536  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Cut and remove the hog rings. Slightly roll up the seat back cushion cover (1).

  3. Object Number: 241541  Size: LH
  4. Remove the following components from the front seat adjusters (7):
  5. • The reclining pivot shaft (3)
    • The 4 bolts
    • The seat back cushion

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 241541  Size: LH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the seat back cushion to the front seat adjusters (7). Secure the cushion with the 4 bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  3. Install the reclining pivot shaft (3) to the front seat adjusters (7).

  4. Object Number: 241536  Size: SH
  5. Roll the seat back cushion cover (1) down onto the seat back cushion.
  6. Use hog ring pliers to install new hog rings (2). Ensure that the seat back cushion cover is secure.
  7. Install the front seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement .
