    • J 37764 Pilot Bearing Remover Adapter
    • J 23907 Clutch Pilot Bearing Remover
    • J 36190 Drive Handle
    • J 34848 Clutch Pilot Bearing Installer

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the manual transaxle assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission -MB4 and MB5.
  2. Remove the clutch pressure plate. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .
  3. Remove the clutch disc. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 183050  Size: SH
  5. Use the J 34839 , the J 37764 and the J 23907 in order to remove the clutch pilot bearing.
  6. Inspect the clutch pilot bearing (1) for the following conditions:
  7. • Scoring
    • Binding
    • Damage

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 183050  Size: SH
  1. Use the J 34848 with the J 36190 in order to install the clutch pilot bearing (1) into the crankshaft .
  2. Install the clutch disc. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .
  3. Install the pressure plate. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement .
  4. Install the manual transaxle assembly into the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission -MB4 and MB5 .
