Condition
Some customers may comment that the batteries are not charging and a Check Vehicle message is displayed on the charger.
Cause
The Accessory Power Control Module (APCM) fails to power up properly. The technician will find DTCs 26, 33, and 61 stored in history. The Battery Pack Control Module (BPCM) will have a DTC 268 stored in history as well.
Correction
Reprogram the BPCM with new software. The software is available from Techline starting in June, 2001 on the TIS 2000 version 6 data update or later.
