Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 167697 Size: SH
  1. Open the drain plug (3) on the radiator in order to drain the coolant.

    2. Object Number: 167715 Size: SH
  2. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp (1) on the radiator inlet hose at the radiator (2).
  3. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp (1) on the radiator inlet hose at the thermostat (4).

    4. Remove the radiator hose (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 167715 Size: SH
  1. Position a new hose clamp (1) on each end of the new radiator inlet hose (3) before installation.
  2. Install the new radiator hose to the thermostat cap (4) and to the radiator (2).
  3. Position the radiator inlet hose (3) over the thermostat and radiator flares.
  4. Secure with two hose clamps (1).
  5. Fill the radiator with an approved coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
