Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 221625 Size: SH
  1. Remove the Knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 221624 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the EBCM (1) electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the three retaining nuts and remove the EBCM from the mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 221624 Size: SH
  1. Install the EBCM (1) to the bracket. Secure the EBCM (1) with the three retaining nuts.
  2. Install the three retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining nuts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  3. Connect the EBCM electrical connectors.

    4. Object Number: 221624 Size: SH
  4. Install the Knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Perform the Diagnostic System Check .
