Removal Procedure
- Open the instrument panel compartment door. Lower the door by pushing in the left and right sides.
- Remove the fresh/recirc control cable (2) at the blower case.
- Remove the heater control unit (3). Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the fresh/recirc control cable at the heater control unit.
- Remove the fresh/recirc control cable from the instrument panel.
Important: Note the routing position of the cable in order to facilitate installation.
Installation Procedure
- Position the fresh/recirc control cable (2) in the vehicle. Route the cable as previously noted.
- Install the fresh/recirc control cable to the heater control unit (3).
- Install the heater control unit to the instrument panel. Refer Control Assembly Replacement .
- Adjust the fresh/recirc cable as needed. Refer to Vent Control Cable Adjustment .
- Close the instrument panel compartment.
