For 1990-2009 cars only
- Ensure that the front tires and wheels are in the straight ahead position.
- Turn the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) coil counterclockwise by hand slowly until the SIR coil reaches the stop.
- Turn the SIR coil clockwise 2½ turns.
- Align the arrows (1) on the SIR coil.
