Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the front wiper motor electrical connector (4).

  2. Object Number: 352528  Size: SH
  3. Remove the 4 mounting bolts (1) which secure the front wiper motor (3).
  4. Pull the front wiper motor (3) away from the bulkhead.

  5. Object Number: 352530  Size: SH

    Important: Do not service the front wiper motor crank arm separately. Do not disconnect the front wiper motor crank arm from the front wiper motor. The crank arm is positioned on the wiper motor in order to allow the front wiper arms to return to their normal park position.

  6. Gently pry the front wiper linkage (2) from the front wiper motor crank arm (1).
  7. Remove the front wiper (3) motor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front wiper motor (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the front wiper linkage (2) to the front wiper motor crank arm (1).

  3. Object Number: 352528  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the front wiper motor (3) to the bulkhead. Secure the front wiper motor with 4 mounting bolts (1).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the front wiper motor mounting bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  6. Connect the front wiper motor electrical connector (4).
