Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 352537  Size: LH
  1. Remove the spare tire cover.
  2. Remove the spare tire lock and the wheel nuts.
  3. Remove the spare tire from the rear door in order to access the rear wiper arm.
  4. Important: Before removing the rear wiper arm, note the wiper arm location for proper installation.

  5. Lift the nut cover (8) in order to gain access to the rear wiper arm retaining nut.

  6. Object Number: 352539  Size: SH
  7. Remove the rear wiper arm retaining nut from the rear wiper arm (1).

  8. Object Number: 352537  Size: LH
  9. Remove the rear wiper arm (3) from the rear wiper pivot assembly (7).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352537  Size: LH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear wiper arm (3) to the rear wiper pivot assembly (7). Secure the rear wiper arm (1) with the retaining nut.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear wiper arm retaining nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Place the nut cover (8) over the rear wiper arm retaining nut.
  4. Install the spare tire to the rear door. Secure the spare tire with the wheel nuts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the spare tire wheel nuts to 54 N·m (40 lb ft).

  6. Install the tire lock and the spare tire cover.
