Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Push on the retaining tab on the bottom of the rear defogger switch with a pick in order to remove the clip.
  3. Slide out the rear defogger switch from the instrument panel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear defogger switch.
  5. Remove the rear defogger switch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the rear defogger switch.
  2. Install the rear defogger switch to the instrument panel. Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
  3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
